My name is Rupee

It is a very hot and sultry day outside.. Its so hot that its as if i had got fever out here.. One cant describe how it would be to be enclosed in a perspiring fist without any air on a hot and humid day like this.. poor little fellow, he could not even afford the airconditioned buses that my wealthy brothers enjoy.. with me in one hand and a jute bag in other he is travelling in this rickety bus which I am sure will not last the journey halfway..

Okay..., before I go any further, let me introduce myself.. I am Rupaiah.. people simply refer to me as The Rupee.. unfortunately, i have got many brothers who look very much similar to me.. but you know what.. I am the intellect of all you would have come across..

Everything in this universe comes in pairs. Let it be the case of materialistic things like electron – proton, mountains – plains, light – darkness, peaks – troughs or be in the case of human values like good – evil, rich – poor, optimism – pessimism. As funny as it may sound, it’s the other complimenting thing that brings out the true nature of the one being considered.

Nothing is a plain, if there were no mountain. Nothing is dark if there is no light. No one is good if there are no evils around.

With this in my mind, I am penning down a self-story of a One rupee coin in the hands of a village farmer who visits near by city to sell his crop.
